Born and raised in Uganda, East Africa, Fred is a devoted Christian, father to three beautiful daughters and proud husband of Grace Kayiwa, a SSGT in the US Army- National Guard. Fred and his family live in Houston, Texas.
Fred earned his bachelors in Social Work and Social Administration in 2011 from Bugema University in Uganda. He has always been helping the needy, especially young people. Since 2006, he has been working with young people from economically challenged communities, mostly the slums of Kampala Uganda and street kids of Kampala.
Using his passion for sports, Fred has worked with various organizations to empower youths through sports, paving the way for them to acquire educational scholarships in exchange for their athletic talents. Fred’s teams have participated in international soccer tournaments such as the Norway Cup in Oslo Norway, Dana Cup in Denmark, Donosti Cup in Spain and others in
Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda.
In 2014 Fred moved to United States, where he has been working in health care, taking care of the elderly, young people with learning disabilities and, presently, in a hospital setting promoting safety of patients.
Following his social work passion and skills, Fred earned a Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Houston, graduating in May 2024. His goals are to continue be a force and an advocate for people who are in need, especially the young people.
